How to delete your world
- Step 1: Launch the game.
- Step 2: Press Start Game to open your World Select menu.
- Step 3: Find that particular world that you want to delete.
- Step 4: Left-click it once to highlight it in the menu.
- Step 5: Find the “delete” option in the screen’s lower-left corner.
- Step 6: Verify that the world you wish to delete is highlighted.
- Step 7: Select “delete” from the menu.
- Step 8: A new box requesting that you write “DELETE” to confirm will appear in the center of the screen.
- Step 9: To confirm, type “DELETE” and press Enter.
- Step 10: The world will be deleted from both your list of active worlds and files.
Players need to remember that deleting the world is permanent in Palworld, and then you can’t recover it. So be careful and think again while deleting the world, as you lost all your things, including workbenches, pals, farms, hard-earned resources, and all the other things.
How to delete your character in Palworld

For Steam:
- Find Palworld in your Steam library.
- Right-click on the game and choose “Manage.”
- Choose the Save Folder by clicking on “Browse Local Files.”.
- Find the World Folder in the Save Folder.
- Search and delete the file “steam_autocloud.vdf.”
- Open the Player Folder by navigating back to the Save Folder.
- Find the backup folder inside the player folder.
- Select the World Folder in Backup.
- Search for and delete the UserOption.sav file.
For Gamepass:
- Turn on your computer and go to this URL: “C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\Pal\Saved\SavedGames“
- Open the folder.
- Search and delete the “steam_autocloud.vdf” file.
- Return to the folder with saved games.
- Find and open the player folder.
- Find the backup folder inside the player folder.
- Select the World Folder in Backup.
- Search for and delete the UserOption.sav file.
