Palworld, a new survival game developed by Pocket Pair, is making waves in the gaming industry. The popularity of the game can be gauged from the fact that even while in early access, Palworld has become the second-most-played game on Steam.
The third-person perspective game offers players an amazing journey to explore the open-world Palpagos Islands, where hundreds of creatures known as Pals are inhabited. Pals can be used to battle or be made to work on farms or factories.
As the game is only available for Windows and Xbox, fans of other platforms keep asking the developers when the game will launch on Playstation Mobile or other platforms.
During a Steam Q&A session, Palworld developers stated that they currently have no plans for a PlayStation port. Though it hasn’t been totally ruled out, there is still a slight possibility that Palworld will make an appearance on the PS4 or PS5.
The speculation about a PlayStation launch arose when Shuhei Yoshida, a key figure at PlayStation, congratulated the Palworld team on January 20 via X (formerly Twitter). In response to a user’s inquiry about expediting the porting process for Palworld to PS5, Yoshida replied with a simple “Yes.”
However, this is just speculation as of now, but seeing the response of the gamers to Palworld, the developers will surely consider releasing the game on not just PS4 and P5, but other platforms as well. We urged fans not to fall for misleading information and to constantly seek out the official announcement rather than believing speculations that surfaced recently regarding the debut of Palworld Mobile. Pocket Pair will provide an official announcement if and when the game launches on any platform.
